Valrhona is one of the finest chocolate producers in the world, originating from the small village of Tain L'Hermitage, France since 1922. This prestigious chocolate brand is renowned for its expertise in creating top quality chocolates and is the brand of choice for pastry chefs and artisans.

Guanaja 70% uses Valrhona's most recognised and treasured signature blend of origin chocolate. First developed in the 1980s as the world's first 70% couverture chocolate.  Guanaja 70% has a classic bitter astringency, leading to a warm, aromatic finish.

Caraibe 66% was Valrhona’s first regional focused couverture taking in flavours of Caribbean cocoa at its best. Developed in 1986 as a major push towards the current push toward full sustainability and transparency in chocolate. Caraibe 66% has a beautiful balance of sweetness and roasted nut notes, leading to a soft woody finish.

Jivara 40% is a classic of what a milk chocolate should be. Developed as a flagship couverture for Valrhona’s “Grand Cru” collection.  Jivara 40% has an intense cocoa richness with a finely balanced creamy tones complimenting notes of thick vanilla ice-cream and malted biscuits.

Tanariva 33% is a pure Madagascan sourced from the Millot Estate in the Ambanja region of the island nation. Tanariva 33% is a wonder example of how the bright acidic Madagascan cocoa beans impact upon the flavour of a light milk chocolate. An initial tanginess reminiscent of berries and yoghurt leads to a sweet light caramel finish.
